Server Merges!

Hello, hero! Today we're announcing another wave of server merges: when two or more servers become one, with all players and guilds playing together with each other. This wave of merges is smaller than last year's, and will only affect around a quarter of currently active servers.

Check if your server is merging here and prepare in advance! Server merges will happen on May 24th.

Let’s dive into more details about this event:

Q: What will change?
A: If your server is being merged, your account will automatically transfer to a new one. If your server is being merged into, you will stay in place. Either way, you’ll find a larger, more active player base there, including new allies and new rivals! There will also be changes to your Grand Arena and Guild War ranking.

Q: Will I be affected?
A: Check out this page to see whether your server is being moved or merged into.

Q: What about my Guild?
A: Your entire Guild, including all guildmates, will be transferred together. Your Global Championship standing stays the same, though your Guild War ranking will change.

Q: How are you deciding on which servers will get merged?
A: We take into account how many active players are there, what kind of power they have, as well as a few technical details. We will merge servers that have mostly similar players.

Q: When will it happen?
A: These server merges will happen on Sunday, May 24th.

Q: What will happen with the Grand Arena?
A: Once the merge finalizes, everyone on the destination server (both new and old accounts) will start Grand Arena from the beginning. Everyone will be compensated depending on which place they had in the Grand Arena before the merge.

Q: What will happen with Guild Wars?
A: Once the merge finalizes, all guilds on the destination server (both new and old) will start Guild Wars in the Qualifying League. Everyone will be compensated depending on which place their Guild had in Guild War before the merge.

Q: What if I have multiple accounts?
A: In over 99% of cases, nothing much! Your accounts will merge to different servers. In other cases, we will move your accounts manually or get in touch to resolve any potential merge issues with you.

Q: How long will this take?
A: On average, the merge will take around 15 minutes. During that time you will not be able to log in and play the game. We will notify you in advance via in-game mail about when you can expect this to happen.
